DRIVER SAFETY PROGRAMAARP offers a Driver Safety Program designed especially for motorists age 55 and older, but others may participate. The eight hour course covers normal changes in vision, hearing and reaction time and provides practical techniques to compensate for these changes. Successful completion of the program may enable each participant to receive an appropriate discount on their auto insurance from their carrier. The course is available to AARP members for a fee of $12 and to non-members for $14.
