Program

What is the Chapter TOPS Program?
•          Provide local networking contacts for MOAA members and spouses in job/career transition
•       Provide needed “sponsor” assistance, networking contacts and job notices to transitioning Chapter members.
•       Sponsor assistance includes helping with resume building, job search techniques, and interviewing.
•       To gain sponsor assistance please contact the Middle Tennessee Chapter TOPS Liaison, Scott Cantlon, at 615-306-6601.

We need Networking volunteers and program committee members!
•          Go to www.moaa.org/career and join the MOAA TOPS Chapter/State Networking Program
•       Anyone in the chapter can be a networker! However, you must be a member of MOAA national to join using the link above.
•       Ideal candidate – second career or active in local business community, and enjoys networking
•       Click on “Become a Networker”
•       Fill out the registration form
•       Call the Middle Tennessee Chapter TOPS Liaison, Scott Cantlon at 615-599-1594 and inform him that you would like to be a member of the Chapter TOPS Committee and provide sponsor assistance.

Chapter Network Volunteers can:

•          Provide advice on their profession (present or former)
•       Provide general tips on how they made their own transition
•       Provide ideas on how to network effectively in your geographical area
•       Provide information about the local area (schools, medical facilities, recreation, etc.)
•       Link with other Chapter members or community business people
•       Share job opportunities in your area
